I will be playing guitar in Space F!ght for their upcoming UK tour in November.
The tour will be based on improvisations Inspired by sci-fi novels from P.K. Dick and S. Lem. To emphasize 3D effect of the visualisations Space F!ght is using a custom made modular scenography for visualisations/3D mapping. Scenography modules are acting as projection screens made of especially designed models.
During the forthcoming tour each show will also contain a piece made in collaboration with Stockholm Environment Institute (SEI) and NASA’s Goddard Institute for Space Studies (GISS).

'A Start On Such A Night Is Full Of Promise' is an 8 track album of compositions and instrumental songs inspired by the first crossing of Greenland made by an expedition led by Norwegian explorer Fridtjof Nansen in 1888. Each track programatically tells the story of this epic true story, and features narrated passages from the account that Nansen wrote about the expedition.
All music composed and produced by Tom Adams.
A CD and digital download of the album are available to download from bandcamp.
More information on the story behind each track is available at themountaineeringclub.co.uk/orchestra
The album has been performed in its entirety at the National Centre for Early Music in York, and at the Scott Polar Museum in Cambridge with the Hills Road Chamber Orchestra.
Music video for Hollow Mountain’s track 'Blue', from 'Monument to D. Flavin'.
Hollow Mountain is a set of thoughts and atmospheres put together by Rhys Copeland (Line Spectra, City Seventeen) and Tom Adams (Toma, TMCO). Using a generative looping system the duo create organic and constantly evolving textures that draw on their combined interest in ambient, glitch and drone music in equal measure.
The video is by Wesley Freeman-Smith and features a collaboration with the artist Susie Olczak at her studio in Cambridge
